I was so very honoured and pleased to attend the grand opening of Mistawasis Nehiyawak High School today on behalf of Premier Scott Moe and the Government of Saskatchewan. Thank you to Chief Watson and Council for your warm welcome. This is a beautiful, state-of-the-art new school that better serves and accommodates the students who call this community home. The Government of Saskatchewan is committed to building strong relationships by working collaboratively with First Nations and Métis governments, organizations and communities, as well as the federal government. One of the highlights of today’s celebration were the young children singing “O Canada” who also in the future will be attending this learning facility.
